BLIMBINGSARI VILLAGE

Hey thank you to open my blog J. And now I have a little article that should you read and enjoy this.

Blimbingsari village is a one of ten village in melaya district, jembrana regency. The story of this village is start from 60 years ago when the Netherlands became a colonizer of Indonesia, Netherlands throw away the Christian people in bali to the forest. Because Netherlands want to make Christian people in bali die, but the God say no, all of the people is life and built them village until now.

 Blimbingsari village is a village for Cristian protestant in bali. This village it so unique, I never ever seen the village with a house with Balinese decoration and architecture but the people are Cristian protestant. In blimbingsari village you can see 2 churchs with Balinese decoration and architecture. If you see just from outside I sure you will see the temple, but if you get closer and get inside you never ever trust that is real church.

The Balinese culture it’s so sticking, not just a house and church decoration, but the name of the people in this village same as the hindu’s people, like Made, Putu, Gede, Wayan, Komang, Ketut. When the christmast day are come the people in blimbingsari village make a penjor (Balinese ceremony item) and put the penjor in front of them house like a galungan day (hindu’s celebration), not just penjor, the people also wearing hindu’s costume when they have to pray in the church. Clergyman that leading the pray use the Balinese language and when they praying the balinese gamelan (balinese music) is played same like a hundu’s celebration. The people in blimbingsari used a good balinese language and every nyepi day or silent day the people in blimbingsari watching the ogoh – ogoh to join participation and respecting hindu’s celebration and they also not go outside them house when the nyepi day is begin.

When you are step your foot in this village, you will never ever stop your step, you will walk, walk and walk on the street, because blimbingsari village offers you a unique building, unique village and culture. On the middle of blimbingsari village that was a road and if you see the road from the air you will see a great cross. Why the name is blimbingsari? Because 60 years ago the people was found this village like forest with many blimbing (star fruit) trees, and then the people built this village and give a name blimbingsari.

In blimbingsari village that available accommodation like a hotel and restaurant, so if you want to take a rest you can rent a room. In this place you can cycling around this village and the guide will inform you about the village. The air is so nice for the people who want to release them stress and get the nice day in them life. Many trees can be seen when you’re walking or cycling, everywhere is green, no rubbish, no pollution and quiet. The Sebatu Holy Bathing

Helloo guys…Do you know about holy bathing or take the holy bath before? Do you also got a sick and that can’t be recover by the doctor? So I have a solution for you and now I would like to give you a little bit information of sebatu holy bathing.

This holy bathing is located in sebatu village, tegalalang district, gianyar regency. Your journey to this place if you from Denpasar is about 1 hour. When you have been there you will welcome with security guard that used a traditional costume of bali.The parking area is not so big, so many people come by motorbike.

Just walk about 50 meters and go down stair, don’t worry about the stair because that has been save with iron pipe, so you can hold the iron pipe when you’re walking down the stair. In this holy bathing place that was available the instruction activites  that will we do. The first you have to pray in the holy place that available in this holy  bathing place. Why we have to do that? Because we have to say to the god that we will take a bath and also get the blessing from the god. Usualy the people who take a bath bring a kwangen, kwangen is a rolled banana leaf and many kind of flower and 11of coin (pis bolong) inside.

And  then continue your journey to the holy bath. The holy water in this place it’s so swift like a waterfall. The main of the holy water that is 3 part, so you have to wash  your head first and then your body under the water. Don’t forget pray while you take the holy bath, and relase the kwangen with the 11 of coin when you’re take the holy bath. After you have been take a bath so your condition is gonna be wet, and continue your journey to the holy place and pray again 1 in front of the holy water. Say thank’s to the god for hes blessing.

Next you have to change your cloth in the toilet that available there, don’t worry the place is clean and in there also have a security guard that will keep your item in the locker. And about the payment of the toilet you have to pay up to you how much you want to pay. Well now we’re going to the upstair at the parking area, you should have an extra stamina to get there.

Because this holy bath is still have a lot of positive energy, so a little bit people come to this place, it’s so different like in tirta empul temple or gunung kawi temple sebatu. If have a special Balinese day in this area, many people will come to take a bath. Many people said if the people have a negative energy or have a black magic or have a sick that got from the black magic so the water is turned brown and have a bubbles when he/she take a holy bath.

If you non hindu you’re able to take this holy bath, but you have to wears a traditional cotton and belt like a hindu’s  people. Many people feel so fresh when they have been take a holy bath. Well do you interested? Let’s try this holy bath and feel the freshness holy water.
